So, for example, there will be consideration

of the various systems for assessments

relating to security and rescue staff at

events. There are very often differences of

opinion between organisers, operators and

officials as regards the appropriate num-

bers. Equally interesting, in this regard, is

the correct measurement of the numbers of

visitors – a measurement which depends

heavily on the measuring systems used. As

well as the legal implications, these figures

have a direct effect on things such as traffic

infrastructure, admission capacity and

catering provision, as well as on the loca-

tion of the venue.
